Is Unfolding Of The Aorta A Cause For Concern?
Hello Welcome to HCM. Thanks for posting your query. I understand your concerns. Aortic unfolding is an old term used to describe the mediastinal widening. It is usually seen in old age due to increase in the length of the thoracic aorta more than its diameter. No need to worry. Regular follow up to be done yearly once. Hope this helps you. Thank you
