Is Usage Of 2% Minoxidil And Alpecin Safe On The Same Day?

Dear Sir, My question would be the following: I m a 24 year old male, recently started to notice hair thinning, and first stages of male pattern baldness. I ve started to use Alpecin (applied twice a day), and it had pretty good results. My question is, that is it safe to use 2% Minoxidil in the morning, and Alpecin at night, or they cancel each other out, or anything like that? Thanks for your answer, David

Hi,

Alpecin contains caffeine that can be used to promote hair growth, stimulate the hair follicles, strengthen the roots and reduce hair breakage according to the manufacturers of this product. Again, Minoxidil is effective for stimulating hair growth and slowing baldness. No interactions have been reported between Minoxidil and caffeine.

Minoxidil can be applied after washing hair with Alpecin. Again, if someone wants to apply Minoxidil in the morning and Alpecin at night, then he or she can apply without any tension. But, before using both of these, you should consult your doctor first and then apply these according your doctor's directions.
