Is Using Only Inhaler Advisable To Treat Acute Bronchitis?

Thank you for being here. Yesterday I was diagnosed with acute bronchitis , spasmodic coughing, and got an inhaler to use every six hours, two puffs each time. I was looking up to see exactly what this inhaler was, and though the answer is vague (albumin sulfate, don t know what that is), just saw bronchitis medication on the list of choices, clicked it, and here you are! I m following directions, and staying hydrated, tea, (no caffeine), water, drinking soup, taking multi-vitamin (ordinarily I m very healthy), Royal Jelly, and getting rest. Now that I m here, though, if you have any other suggestions, I m open! My doctor said this should clear up now in about a week. Fingers crossed! Have a great weekend and stay healthy!

Hi
The inhaler is albuterol which is a beta receptor agonist and very effective for your problem.

That said, I would also have you on a course of antibiotics for the bronchitis
