Is Vaginal Bleeding After Intercourse Worrisome?

I had intercourse yesterday n the sideways position and after he penetrated i felt something pop. we then noticed that i was bleeding so we stopped i went to the bathroom urinated and cleaned up nd just has slight spotting lastnight. this morning there is no blood passing visibly with urine but it is very visible on tissue and its dark and kind of thick looking. i have a uterine implant should i be worried?
