Is Vaginal Bleeding Common Post Cervical Cauterization?

Is it common to have vaginal discharge with some light bleeding after cervical cauterization with silver nitrate? I also just started nora-be oral contraceptives and took them at unscheduled times for the last two or three days. I mire concernerbed about the unexpected or breakthrough bleeding.

Hello,
Thanks for letting us know your health concern. Some amount of vaginal discharge is common after any procedure. Moreover, as you have recently started oral contraceptive, breakthrough bleed is also possible. Please use additional contraception for the first two months. If there is no respite even after a couple of days, please get further help. Take care.
