Is Vaginal Bleeding Normal After Sex?

My bestfriend and her boyfriend have been doing "stuff" together for awhile now. And she just told me that once after he fingerd her that her vagina bleed a little. Im a very paranoid person. And I just need to know if the bleeding would be a normal thing to happen. She said it's only happend once.
