Is Vaginal Bleeding Normal While Having H Pylori And Stomach Ulcer?

Hi, I have been diagnosed wit h pylori and a stomach ulcer. 3 days after I was diagnosed (I was taking my medication as prescribed), I started bleeding like my period for 6 days. The crazy thing is I had my period 2 weeks before being diagnosed) and just started back up. I was wondering is vaginal bleeding normal withh pylori and a stomach ulcer? Also, after I finish my treatment would l still have h pylori or would it go away completely? Is it contagious?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
welcome to hcm,
i really appreciate your concern,
No not at all normal, And no h.pylori is not contagious and on taking full treatment it can be eradicated.
Causes of vaginal bleeding,
1)Ovulation can cause mid-cycle bleeding.
2)Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a hormone imbalance that interferes with normal ovulation and can cause abnormal bleeding.
3)Medicines, such as birth control pills, sometimes cause abnormal vaginal bleeding. You may have minor bleeding between periods during the first few months if you have recently started using birth control pills. You also may have bleeding if you do not take your pills at a regular time each day. For more information, see the topic Birth Control.
An intrauterine device (IUD) also may increase your chances of spotting or heavy periods.
please let me know if you have any further queries.
thanks. regards
