Is Vaginal Spotting A Matter Of Concern?

My tubes have been tied for 17 years now, however I was supposed to start my period around the 5th. I lightly spotted one day, inserted a tampon and when I took it out a few hours later nothing, a couple days went by and then a light spot again with the same results. It has happened again today. is this something I should be concerned about?

Hello,

Minor spotting is not a big deal and nothing much to worry. It will settle by it own even without treatment. No treatment is required as of now and you can consult a gynecologist in case of persistent bleeding.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
