Is Vaginal Spotting Due To Ovarian Cyst?

1 m 44 yrs old this month I got spotting 3_4times in my panty which stopped in 4to5 hours n I every time I thought it was my period but no then after my ultrasound I was diagnosed small cyst in my rt ovary after getting ultrasound my periods started but very little stayed for 5days n was prescribed novelon on fifth day plz help to clear my doubts is this spotting due to cyst or is it cervical cancer plz help

Hi I think you should consult a gynecologist for complete examination. Get a pelvic examination done by a gynecologist to rule out any cervical pathology. Also get a paps smear done. If there is no cervical pathology or paps smear is normal, there is no chance of cervical cancer. It can be a perimenopausal symptom. Small cyst in right ovary is not a major problem. If cyst is small than 5 cm and is clear, it will resolve on its own. Hope it helps.
