Is Vicodin Safe To Be Taken 4 Days Before Child Birth?

I am pregnant and my due date is four days from now. I ve takein vicodin on and off for awhile now. I just took my last ones and my question is will it be out of mine and the baby s system if i go into labor in four days? I drink nothing but water and i pee alot. Does that help in getting it out of our systems faster?

Hallow Dear,

Vicodin contains acetaminophen. This medicine causes drug dependence in the foetus or baby. hence this medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

In the impending labour period, you should not take this medicine since this will be found in the breast ill if sufficient time between consumption of the medicine and delivery is not available.

I feel you should not take Vicodin.

I hope this helps you.
