Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello,

If the black lines were noticed suddenly after the bout of vomiting and has caused loss of vision in that eye, then it is better to get the eye examined by an ophthalmologist. It could be due to posterior vitreous detachment(PVD)/ vitreous hemorrhage/ retinal detachement(RD)/ variant of migraine. PVD and migraine would not require any specific treatment but the other two conditions need to be evaluated in detail for further course of action.

Regards
