Is Vomiting After Drinking Vodka Dangerous?

my son drank 6 shots of vodka with in 2 hours and vomited severely, it has been 4 hours since his last drink & he is now sleeping. I am monitoring his breathing & waking him at interval periods . Do you still think he is at risk & how long should i keep monitoring him for?

six shots of vodka is going to be a problem but should not be fatal. AND... about 1 drink goes out of your system every 1-2 hrs (in adults 1 hour). At this point, he'll still be inebriated, but if he can be awakened at all, then he will be fine. If he cannot be awakened at all, then, he needs hospital.
