Is Vomiting Post Water Intake After A Surgery A Cause For Concern?
Hi my daughter had surgery yesterday. She was made to drink lots of water and then she vomited. I asked the nurse if she should pass wind before she eats or drinks. She said no. Ive had 3 surgeries and each time had to pass wind before I ate or drank

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the post operative phase then such vomiting needs to be taken seriously and underlying cause of this need to be found out, although what type of surgery it is being done not mentioned here, nor the age of patient given here, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
