Is Water Discharge From Vagina In 40th Week Of Pregnancy A Cause For Concern?

Hi! I m 40 weeks and 2 days pregnant, and I ve been wet down there to the point where I had to change my underwear. I m not 100% sure if it is my water or not. It doesn t look like discharge because it isn t white or thick and it doesn t smell or look like urine.

Hello,

I think you should go to go to hospital to get checked because the water may have broken. You are at full-term pregnancy and you are wanting for a birth activity to start.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
