Is Weight Gain Normal During 34th Week Of Pregnancy?

Hi Im in my 34th week of pregnancy. At the start my weight was 60 kgs but during the1st trimester lost 4 kgs because of morning sickness . Now my weight has become 67.5 kgs . Wanted to know whether the weight gain is normal. Im concerned for my baby's weight . My gyno says that the baby is doing fine and weighs approx 2.5 kgs . What is your opinion ? Is my weight gain normal?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Your doctor will be able to approximately predict your baby's weight and if he/she has found it to be normal for the gestational age, then there is nothing really to worry about. Eat food that does not make you feel sick, and also stay well hydrated. Also speak to your doctor about initiating anti-emetics if they have not already been prescribed to you.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
