Is Weight Gain Normal During PCOD Treatment?

Hi doctor,

I am suffering from PCOD.. My doctor has prescribed me with BenForce-M, Livogen, Krimson35, Ebexid... but after taking these tablets my weight has increased considerably. 5kgs in last 1 and half months... Is this normal? Will my weight reduce after the treatment is complete? Should i take any additional tablet to keep my weight in control?

Hi,

Out of the tablets you are taking, Krimson can cause weight gain as a side effect. This drug is a combination of 2 hormones, having side effect of weight gain in about 25% of cases. However, this side effect is a temporary side effect, which resolves itself after stoppage of the drug.
