Is Weight Gain One Of The Side Effects Of Eltroxin 100 Mg Tablets?

For the last 6 months I'm taking Eltroxin 100 mg tablets for reducing thyroid. However my weight is constantly increasing for the same period. I'm not taking any other medication besides Eltroxin. Could it be one of the side effects of the medicine? I am 45 years old woman.
