Is Wheelchair Needed After Laparoscopic Hysterectomy Procedure?
Hi, i am due to have laperoscopic hysterectomy on w/c 19th January (date to be confirmed on 5th Jan) for endometrial cancer. I have been told it will be a one night stay in hospital after op and the next day i will probably go home. My question is do i need a wheelchair to get from the car to my home?

it is advisable to ambulate the patient(ask them to walk) after the first day of laparoscopic hysterectomy surgery in case of no postop complications.
this aids in the recovery of the patient.
donot worry this surgery is very safe with very few complications.
you would not need a wheel chair also.
eat a healthy diet rich in proteins post surgery.
