Is White And Golden Discharge After Cyst Removal Normal?

I had a cyst removed in urgent care a week ago. I do not know if the doctor got the cyst sac and now I still have the white thick goo and a clear golden discharge from the site. It's also a rather large hole that was not stitched. Is this normal a week later?

from your description,it seems like it was an infected cyst, and so it should be left open, and not be stitched...since it is a large opening,it will take 2-3 weeks to get filled up,and golden discharge is normal till then.but,if there is thick white/yello discharge, may need revision surgery.that your doctor will decide.dont worry.
hope you find this information useful.thank you.
