Hello I m prescribed .25mg (the smallest dose) of Xanax for panic attacks problem is I enjoy wine and its hard to stop drinking completely at 25 I know they have very bad interactions but when is it safe to take so there will not be an interaction? I had three glasses through a few hours how many hours until it s safe?
I am Dr.Saddiq ul Abidin. I have read you question completely, i understand your concern and will try to help you in best way possible.
Alcohol and xanax have no good interactions my friend. The reason you're taking Xanax will lose its effects if you continue it with Alcohol. Wine if taken with Xanax wi)) worsen the nervous system effects like dizziness, drowsiness and difficulty concentrating. You may also experience impairment in thinking and judgement. So I would suggest you to avoid wine as much as possible plus use xanax with caution. Don't take it in excess. Stay healthy !
