Is Yellow Bruising Around Mole A Bad Sign?
i have had a large irregular mole on my knee for a few years. it has irregular color and edges, and my doctor told me to watch it for a while. I noticed yellow bruising around it today, is this a bad sign? should i get it checked out? im 18 and male. Thanks!

hi...thanks for sharing your problem here..
any changes in the mole is not good sign..moles have 5-15% greater chances of converting into the skin cancer specially when mole is raised up..if there are any changes in the mole you got its better to visit your doctor,,,better to get biopsy or excise it and sent for biopsy...thanks

Moles are generally benign in nature. However, rapid increase in size, change in texture, abnormal margins these are the changes you should be worried for. Colour change in mole, as in your case, needs observation. If you are too worried about it, better get it excised and examined histopathologically.That will gve you releif from all your anxiety.
