Is Zirtek And Ascoril 5ml Safe For Children With Cough And Running Nose?

Gud evening doctor , my son 4.5 year old has cough, running nose . he is coughing with periodicity of 5-10 minutes. I m in russia now and I have yesterday returned from Egypt after a week long holiday, my medicine seller suggested zirtek and ascoril 5ml doses with cleaning of nose by aquamaris, seawater. Is it safe for the child.

Zirtek is an antibiotics and safe for children ,while ascordil is ambroxol and also safe and mucolytic ( expel mucus formed due to cold and infection ) . While aquamaris as you mentioned is a sea water and it contains saline , safe for nasal congestion and infection in nose , so all these drugs are safe and effective , you can use safely.
Cough and running nose may be due to allergy . Allergy develop bronchoconstriction and so cough and running nose.
