Itch Around My Penis, Back Pain, Had Unprotected Sex, Took Medication. Healing Time?

Doc ,I feel itch around my penice and lower back pain,ofcourse I had been having unprotected sex with my girlfriend but its been over 3months now so I leriave myself with mustebation once or twice a week,I went with her to the hospital n wev been given a medication to it but am still having the itchy promblem not as before, wht can that mean please help.....????

Thank you for the query.

Itching which lasts for a long time is most likely caused by some fungal infection. Such infection is sometimes very hard to treat and needs long time and systematic treatment. This area makes very good environment for fungal development.
I suggest you to have urine analysis and penis swab test. Please consult dermatologist. Antifungal treatment might be necessary. Please also try to keep this area clean and dry.
