Itchiness Across Back And Arms After Taking Pregabalin For Neuropathic Pain. Antihistamine Cream Not Helping

I am taking pregabalin for neuropathic pain and experiencing itchiness across my back and down my arms. My doctor says it is not drug related because there is no rash but that it is due to dry skin. She has given me an antihistamine cream which is not helping. What should I do? J.B.
