Itchiness Across Back And Arms After Taking Pregabalin For Neuropathic Pain. Antihistamine Cream Not Helping
I am taking pregabalin for neuropathic pain and experiencing itchiness across my back and down my arms. My doctor says it is not drug related because there is no rash but that it is due to dry skin. She has given me an antihistamine cream which is not helping. What should I do? J.B.
Hello thanks for writing here.Itching seems to be due to dry skin and not releated to drug. You need to apply steroid cream with emollient.Take oral antihistaminc like atarx.Avoid harsh soap.In case rash does not subside consult a dermatologist.Hope this will help you.Take care.
