Itchiness In Large Toe, Broken Toenail, No Dry Nails. Onset Of Diabetes?
I ve been experiencing a really itchy big toe . It s the top side of the toe. I find myself trying hard not to scratch it because once I start I don t want to stop. I also noticed that my toenail on the same toe seems to be breaking closer to the bed and in the cuticle area. I don t have dry nails . Not sure if this is a sign of possible diabetes but some advice for itch relief would be great!!
itching and breaking of nails may be due to a fungal infection simply is there a color change in your toe nail. it need not be a sign of diabetes . but if u have a family history and obese nothing prevents you to check your fasting and post prandial sugar . you can try some antifungal agents both local and systemic because its difficult to treat nail fungus with local antifungal alone
