I have hypothyroidism....take synthroid daily....another problem that is embarassing, I sweat from my head so bad that it drips from my hair...this is an everyday occurance...If the tempature is above about 68 degrees, it is really bad...Thank you for your input.

hello,
Usually people who suffer from head sweating undergo depression and mortification. Thus, it is of great importance to try and understand the reasons for head sweating and to comprehend the various curative methods. One of the most universal causes of head sweating is the erroneous functioning of the thyroid. Thyroid glands include those that create the various hormones which the body uses. This simply implies that any malfunction with the thyroid glands results in many complexities.Hypothyroidism relates to a condition where the thyroid hormone is not secreted sufficiently. Extreme sweating of the head results due to hypothyroidism, besides dry skin, flimsy hair growth and lethargy.Since your thyroid plays a vital role in your metabolism, nearly any problem with your thyroid gland affects it. Your metabolism provides energy to every process in your body, including the process that your skin undergoes to replenish itself. Additionally, thyroid problems can affect the sweat- and oil-producing glands in your skin, which can cause your skin to dry out if they are not working properly.Treatment for hypothyroidism is enough for you to get rid of these symptoms as it is the culprit of these symptoms.Thank you.
