Itching, Circular Reddish Spots In Legs And Arm. Moved To A New Apartment. What Is The Cure?

Hello,
My name is Vanessa. I just recently moved into an apartment here in West Yellowstone, MT. The past few weeks I have been itchy. I'm not allergic to any medications, creams, detergents, makeup etc. I have been seeing small circular reddish spots, *look like little hickies* on my legs. I have maybe a couple on my arm. I don't know what it could be. I've never had any skin conditions. I'm a very clean individual. Please help.

Thanks for query on HCM.
Itchy, reddish circular spots indicates ringworm infection.
Ringworm is a common fungal infection of the skin and is not due to a worm.
The medical term for ringworm is tinea.
Ringworm is contagious and can be passed from person to person by contact with infected skin areas or by sharing combs and brushes, other personal care items, or clothing. It is also possible become infected with ringworm after coming in contact with locker room or pool surfaces. The infection can also affect dogs and cats, and pets may transmit the infection to humans.
Take proper local care.
Start levocetrizine to subside itching.
Antifungal cream containing clotrimazole, miconazole and oral anti fungal like fluconazole, terbinafin will be helpful to treat the condition.
Get examined by dermatologist for proper medical management.

Pulmonologist Dr. Shashi Dangwal's  Response
It sounds like you are developing hives-urticaria in medical terminology. It is an allergic reaction though most of the time, it`s not possible to identify the allergen. You may deworm yourself, change your bed linen frequently and ensure that there are no ticks in the house esp if you have a pet. You may take an anti histaminic like loratadine for symptomatic relief.
