Itching In Lower Legs, Spreading In Nature, Red And Bumpy. Treatment?
Hi, I am 34, about 2yrs ago I started itching on my lower legs at night while in bed. I thought maybe I wasn't changing my sheets often enough. So I started changing them more frequently. That didn't help. So I thought maybe bed bugs. But I vacuum my bed regularly. My itching has progressively gotten worse. I started itching on my upper legs. Now I itch any and everywhere on a daily basis. When it starts, it's not red or blotchy. But quickly turns red bumpy whelpy and blotchy. The itchy area only lasts for about an hour and then it's completely gone. No trace. What could this be and what can I do? HQ
i think u are suffering from acute urticaria.it is due to allergens like food, dyes and insect stings.it presents as wheals all over the body which are transient .it can be cured by atarax 25 mg at night, alaspan in the morning and application of calamine lotion.if no response add oral wysolone 10 mg thrice daily tapered to 10 mg daily once.
