Itching In Vagina, Pain In Clitoris, Whitening. Applied Clotrimazole Cream. Reason And Remedy?

Hi Doctor,
I am having itching in my vagina since past one week. I thought it would go in a few days, but it hasn't. I applied clotrimazole cream in my vagina today, but while I was applying it, I noticed the tip of my clitoris has whitened and it is giving me a slight pain. Can you please tell me the possible reasons for itching, and whitening, and how it can be cured ? Thank you.

Hi,
It seems that you are having fungal infection and now due to itching there might be having some soreness on the part.
Apply anti-fungal cream as you are using.
Apply antibiotic cream to cure infection.
Go for oral anti-fungal tablet course.
Keep local hygiene clean, dry and airy.
