Itching On Feet, Legs And Buttocks, Bruises On Thigh, No Improvement With Medicines. Reason?

I have had itching on my feet , legs and buttocks for a couple weeks now. Mostly in these areas but it has ocurred on my arms and hands too. I went to the doctor and was given a cream and antihistemein. I ve been using it about a week and a half now and it hasn t done much. The cream soothes for about an hour or so but the itching comes back. I looked today upon going to the bathroom and now I have a bruise on each thigh. I haven t even been able to check the back of my legs yet.

Hello,
Thanks for the query,

You might have developed fungal infection.

Please get a KOH mount done,

This can confirm the fungal etiology.

Treatment can be with oral antifungals as well as with topical antifungals.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.

Let me know if you have any other doubt.

you can ask a direct question to me on this forum, following the below link.
