Itching, Pain In Both Ears. Cleaned Ears, Black Discharge. Permanent Cure For Pain?

i have been having itching on both ears with pain, Went to a clinic, had it cleaned and black stuff with some cotton like came out after it was flushed with hydrogen peroxide mixed with water.Pain is throbbing and sharp occasionally. Is this fungal? I have an appointment with an ENT next week. BTW,pain seems relived with antipyrine benzocaine otic and ibuprofen

I have gone through your query regarding ear pain and itching and on cleaning black wet cotton like discharge came out. Your all these symptoms favours to fungal infection.

To treat this type of infection we should do-
(a) Keep ear clean and dry.
(b) Any broad spectrum antibiotic to be taken orally.
(c) Anti inflammatory should be taken orally.
(d) Antifungal ear drop locally to be instilled in ear.
