Itching, Sore Bumps Around Anus And Vagina After Having Oral Sex. Tested Negative For STDs. What Could Be This?
I had oral sex for the first time last week, my partener was tested for STD's before we had oral sex and the test came back negative. I have itchy, sore bumps around the opening of my anus and a few around my vagina. It itches mostly at night but it hurts when I scratch it because it's so sore! It also stings when I urinate. What could this be?
Indeed the new symptoms are concerning for an STD, and given the description and location of the lesions, as well as their character, herpes is in the differential; many times, this is not a disease that gets screened with STD's. Best advise is to avoid sex for now, and see a provider who can perform a pelvic examination and perhaps if possible sample the lesions.
