Itching, Swollen And Red Urethra, Foul Odor, Discharge, Spotting Blood
I m 47 and about a week ago I started itching very bad then later on in the day I noticed my urethral was very swollen and red , and at first no odor then a very foul odor. I had very little discharge but some white thick stuff not a lot that lasted around a week swelling went down itching almost gone but now I m spotting a little blood

From history it seems that you might be having some infection due to severe itching lead to swelling, soreness on the part.
Go for one antibiotic medicine course to cure infection fully.
