Itchy Bumps On Body. Used Cortisone Ointment. Mites?
I have had itchy bumps on my body for almost 2 weeks....I live in an apt complex so checked for bed bugs and ruled that out. The spots that have appeared are very small but itch extremely bad...have a cluster below my right shoulder blade and my lower back area and scattered on my abdomen and some on my chest and sporadic parts on my arms. One spot on my breast is starting to feel like the shingles...had that 4 yrs ago so I know the pain that occurs. Went to a new dr being in a new town and she didn't know other than it may have something to do with my dry skin. I had some cream that was used for the shingles but that ran out and have been treating the spots with cortisone ointment and it does give me relief...I have looked everything up online and I might say it looks like it could be mites maybe?

You seem to be suffering from Scabies. Diagnosis is based on typically small itchy papules especially involving the skin folds. Treatment requires overnight application of Permethrin Ointment. I suggest you to see a Dermatologist and take a prescription for the same. Take Care Regards
