Itchy Painful Bumps In The Pubic Area Upto Butt After Shaving. What Could This Be?

I have very itchy painful bumps about every 3 weeks located on and around my taint and up on to the inside of my buttcheeks. The are anywhere from the size of a pencil head to the size of a ball point pen head. I shave and notice that they usually come back once my hair has started growing in, but they last much longer, sometimes, after my hair is fully grown in.
