Itchy, Slightly Raised Random Brown Spots From Neck To Rib Cage Along Back, Becoming Darker. Any Ideas?

I have developed random brown spots starting from the base of my neck down to just below my left rib cage along my back. They first appeared about a month ago and i am worried as to what they might be. They are a little itchy but not too bad. they are raised slightly and have become darker in colour over the past month.
