I've Been Diagnosed With OAB (Over Active Bladder) And My

I've been diagnosed with OAB (Over Active Bladder) and my Urologist says it is more then likely due to previous meth abuse in the past as it affects the bladder lining in some form? I can't remember the whole details of the conversation but I wanted to know if this is true? But if so, can meth abuse also cause IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome)? As I feel I have to defecate more often then before, sometimes up to 5 and 6 times a day. But it's constantly a decently hard stool and sometimes leads to hard constipation to the point I have to be catheterized due to the extent of the constipation and I've yet to be able to find relief through OAB meds at this time. They cause incontinence and it's becomes frequently hard to urinate while taking said meds.
