I've Been On Cymbalta Almost 2 Years. My Doctor Recently

I've been on Cymbalta almost 2 years. My doctor recently increased my dose from 70 mg to 90 mg. About 10 days into the higher dose, I began having trouble sleeping. Even when I'm exhausted it's hard for me to get sleepy. I also began having hypnic jerks when I start to fall asleep. These happen every night when I go to bed, and last anywhere from 1 to 5 hours before I can fall asleep. This has been going on for about 2 weeks now. Because of this, my doctor wanted me to wean down to 80 mg, and I'm almost there, but no change in my sleep or hypnic jerks yet. Do you think if I continue to wean to a lower dose they will go away? Or would I need to be off the medication entirely?
Also, I don't want to take Klonopin because I don't want to make a habit of it.
