I've Been Recently Been Diagnosed With Sebaceous Skin Carcinoma On

I've been recently been diagnosed with sebaceous skin carcinoma on my upper left eye lid. The tumour was misdiagnosed during several doctors visits until a biopsy was performed. I had the cyst for just over a year. It was approx 5mm in size or less. I have had it removed and waiting for the results, along with seeing an oncologists. My question is: how quickly does type of cancer spread? I've read conflicting information. Thank you
