KUB US Showed Negative After Noticing Blood In Urine But Thickening Of The Uterine Wall. No Periods For 9 Months. Help?

I had a KUB US done 2 weeks ago because of blood in urine. it came back neg but they did note a thickening of the uterine wall. My Dr. has suggested we do another US in 2 months time. I am 53 years old and have not had my period for 9 nine months now. I did have spotting for 1 day last week. my question is should I push for another US sooner then latter?

Hi dear,
In a post menopausal lady endometrial thickness of more than 5mm is not acceptable, especially when you are also giving history for spotting a week before. This could be just a hyperplasia or may turn out to be endometrial carcinoma
In my view, consult the gynae at the earliest, get yourself examined and investigated for the same
All the best
