Keloid Has Been Injected With A Steroid. Part Of Healing Process?

Hey my Keloid has been injected with a steroid , and I am on my 4th treatment. But it has now changed significantly, the skin is going darker drying out and flaking... And it is leaking puss and also smells... Should I be worried or is this part of the healing process? I have had it injected 3 times prior but the effects has never been this dramatic.... Thank you

Pus & smell from wound indicates infection.
You have infection in your injection sight.
You immediately consult your doctor he will clean it & dress it.
