im gf says shes pregnant she spoted last week its been 16 days since we had sex for the first time she has had kindey infection and they gave her Bactrim . then her doctor said it was a pulled muscle gave her muscle relaxers an pain pills . now she has broncitus which she is on prednisone she started taking the same day she took pregnancy test she has taken 2 both are positive . Can the medications casue the pregnancy test to be false positive

No medicine can turn or alter the test of pregnancy but the test it self shows false positive and negative test in my opinion the imaging study is the best mean to confirm the pregnancy go for it have nice day.
