Knees Injured, Lump On Knee Cap. Pressure, Tightness On Knee. Will It Go Away?
Hi, I m 50; 5 9 , about 180. I hit my knee on ice while snowboarding about 5 weeks ago. The bruising and pain are gone, but now I have a squishy lump on my knee cap. I don t feel any pain, but I do feel pressure and tightness in the knee. It gets especially tight if I try to do a lunge or a squat. It also feels tight if I do a lot of walking. Will this just go away, or should I see someone?
Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
It seems that you might have some ligamental injury of knee joint giving rise to this problem.
Consult orthopedic surgeon and get examined.
Do not bend joint more,
Do not sit on squatting position or with cross legs.
Do quadricep exercise.
Ok and bye.
