LFT-serum Report Increase In Billirubin & Uric Acid Level. What Is The Reason?

Hi, during usual course of health check, My LFT-serum report showed Total bilirubin of 1.3 mg/dl; with direct billirubin of 0.4 and indirect billirubin 0.9. In case of S. Uric acid it was 7.0 mg/dl. As per doctor s prescription I took Livosil-B capsule (one capuse each night after food) for one month and Zyloric 300 mg (one tablet morning before food) for one month. After one and half month I have repeated the above test, but the results were nearly same. Total billirubin again 1.3 mg/dl and S Uric acid 7.1 mg/dl. Doctor suggested to continue the medication for one more month. I wanted to know the reason for the increase in billirubin & uric acid level in serum and how to cure this. Please suggest.

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Serum bilirubin level is less than 1.0 mg /dl .
Uric acid level 3-8 mg /dl .
As far as concerned about uric acid ,it high concentration is usually found in gout and certain joint disease.
For this you can use limcee ( vitamin C )tablets 1 two times a day for three months.
As far as concerned about high seum bilirubin level .

Get in blood examination for S G O T, S G P T , if raised level of these enzymes find than take treatment , otherwise in my opinion ,no treatment.
Good luck.
