Large Bruise On Upper Arm, Pain While Squeezing. Is This Blood Clot?

Hi Dr. Grief, I have a large (bigger than a half dollar coin) bruise on my right upper arm that has not gone away for almost 2 weeks!! I vaguely remember squeeze that spot with my left hand BTW, I am left-handed) few times because it was hurting very deeply! I checked WebMd and said the older we get the eaiser we bruise! I am 55. I am just worried it might have been a blood clot?!!!

Hi large bruise can be blood clot.the color and pain decides whether it is a bruise or blood clot.if it is dark red it is blood clot .light red indicates bruise.painful indicates bruise and painless indicates clot.bruise can be treated with flutibact ointment and oral antibiotic twice daily .if it is clot .it should be drained.
