Hi, I just noticed I am getting two large dark patches on the sides of my stomach . It actually rubs off when scrubbed really hard, but it comes back. What could this be? I am 19 years old, female, 135 pounds, 5 5 . I wouldn t say i m completely unhealthy as far as eating habits go, but I do have a sweet tooth! Any answers are greatly appreciated! Very worried!!

Hi ,

Thanks for writing in.

Most likely cause in your case is tinea corporis or fungal infection.

You should try lamisil cream twice daily for 7 days.It is available over the counter sale.
This should help considerably.

A visit to dermatologist will be helpful for diagnosis and proper treatment of the condition.

Hope this helps.
