Large, Hard, Immovable Lump On Back Of Neck, Painful And Growing In Nature. What Could This Be?

Hi,
I have a large, hard, immovable lump on the back on my neck on the right side of my hairline. It has come and gone previously but this time it keeps growing and is painful and is red with a white center but definitely under the skin. What could this be?

Hi,
I understand your concern regarding your skin problem.
You seem to have developed a sebaceous cyst.
It is actually a harmless skin lesion and can be left on its own.
But sometimes it can get secondarily infected when it become necessary to get it treated or removed.
You might need a course of oral antibiotics to treat the present skin condition.
You may consider its removal at a later stage.
You should see a nearby dermatologist for the same.

Hope it helps
