Last Stage Colon Cancer, Weight Loss, High Enzyme Levels, Constipation. Prognosis?
hello, i am wondering about a timeline for end stage colon cancer . it is about my mother. she is 65, and has lost a lot of weight. she is about to go into hospice care. her liver numbers have gone up, so chemo is no longer an option. she is weak, hasnt been able to keep food down, if does then constipated. need to make plans because she lives far away.

Refractory to chemotherapy stage 4 colorectal cancer which your mother has, the prognosis is not good due to liver metastasis. it depends upon the level of jaundice the survival time can be determined. if she has deep jaundice the survival time is not more than 12 weeks. it is the liver faliure or deep hematic coma which brings the end.
