Late Period, Lighter, No Cramping, Have Heart Burn, Headaches And Fatigue. Could I Be Pregnant?
Period was 3 days late and lasted only 2 days. It was lighter than normal and I had no cramping like I nornally do. A blood test was taken whilei was bleeding and it was negative. I ve had several early pregnancy signs starting a few days after ovulation . Its been a week since the bleeding and I have heartbutn headaches and fatigue. Could I be pregnant or was that bleeding just a light period. I m usually on time and last 4 days with heavy bleeding and cramping.
Hi, Thanks for the query. As your pregnancy test was negative, there is less possibility for pregnancy. Menstrual cycles can get altered depending on many factors like : - Hormonal imbalance as in poly cystic ovary disease, due to stress and strain, weight changes etc. - Thyroid hormonal abnormalities -General conditions like anemia etc. The symptoms you are having could be due to hormonal effect or due to continuously thinking about pregnancy. It is true that rarely some women may have spotting on their expected date of menstruation, even being pregnant. So, you once go for blood test for pregnancy or ultrasound. By this the possibility of pregnancy can be ruled out. If the tests exclude the pregnancy, in next cycles you track the ovulation and plan intercourse around that period. This will increase the possibility of pregnancy. Take care.
