Late Periods, Negative Pregnancy Tests. Time To Wait For Next Tests? Tests To Be Done For Conceiving?
I am TTC and my period is already late by 2 weeks. But Home pregnancy done twice came out negative. What should be further course of action and How long should I wait before trying for another test. Whether I would get my period this month. If so how long after and what have to be done for that. What kind of medical exams do I and my partner need to do for conceiving in forthcoming months
Hello
A serum beta hcg gives a more sensitive result than repeated urine pregnancy tests during early pregnancy. If your blood test gives a negative result you are least likely to be pregnant. Then you can get withdrawal bleeding with drugs.
if you are married for more than 1 year and yet to conceive your plan for conception would be as follows:
1.Regularise your cycles if irregular
2.Baseline hormonal profile and ultrasound pelvis on day 2 of cycle
3.semen analysis for your partner
4.identifying the fertile period{day 11 to day 16}to have intercourse.
good luck
